Travelling in a swag through a heat wave left us struggling with lack of sleep. We also had our dog with us. So we opted for a night here in one of their dog friendly CABINS! Yes, the furkid was welcome inside to enjoy the air con too! The staff were friendly. A valuable resource for pup owners who travel. Thank you!
Nice park, but squishy, toilets lovely. Very quiet (a little too quiet for us - we were too noisy for our neighbours)
To break up our 12 hour drive we booked in last minute. Service was friendly, helpful, cabin was IMMACULATELY clean, we had our kelpie dog with us so we got a pet friendly cabin and she slept on the balcony outside. No worries at all. Would definitely recommend.
Park may be old but amenities are spotless, sites are well planned, traffic is well planned. The Air Force base next door is no problem, helicopters at night is not a problem. Staff are helpful. Will return
We stayed at Coral Coast Tourist Park for three nights and were really impressed with the whole site! $29 per night for a powered camper van site, with great facilities and really friendly staff. There are plenty of toilets and showers which are always exceptionally clean. Theres also great laundry facilities, a big kitchen area and a small shop in reception for all of your essentials. On our second day our van was towed to a mechanic for repairs, and the staff were so helpful in providing alternative accommodation for us. We also sustained an injury and needed an ambulance to take us to the hospital, and again the staff were amazing! We would recommend to anyone travelling through Townsville to stay here - small, friendly, well presented and reasonably priced!
